Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Accountant to manage the accounting and financial operations for a group of companies in the UAE. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with strong potential to convert into a permanent position based on performance and business requirements.
The ideal candidate should have strong UAE accounting experience and be capable of independently handling accounting, VAT/tax filings, registrations, reconciliations, and financial reporting across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for multiple group companies
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
- Handle VAT filings, corporate tax-related documentation, and compliance requirements
- Manage company registrations, renewals, and financial documentation
- Perform bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, and ledger management
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities when required
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial transactions
- Ensure compliance with UAE accounting and taxation regulations
- Support management with financial analysis and reporting requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE accounting experience
- Experience handling accounting for multiple companies/groups preferred
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Immediate joiners preferred
Mandatory Requirement
- Candidate must have their own valid UAE visa
