About The Role
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Finance team on a full-time basis. This role will be based in our Battersea office.
Key Responsibilities
Overview of the role and responsibilities
- Oversee the daily financial operations related to Ecommerce ensuring all tasks are carried out accurately and within specified timeframe.
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes in line with statutory, tax and audit requirements, including invoice processing, returns reconciliation, and revenue recognition.
- Processing invoices/credit notes and ensuring they are approved and correctly recorded onto the system.
- Controlling the purchasing of products and services from external suppliers through PO number issuing
- Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
- Act as one of the main points of contact for the Finance department
- Reconciling Credit card statements for department cards
- Providing support on Travel expense claims
- Assist with month end closing activities
- Ad hoc account administrative duties

Profile & Key Skills
- Finance, business administration or accounting education would be an advantage
- Excellent computer skills, able to work with Word and Excel at an advanced level
- Great communication skills and have an eye for numbers
- Extremely detail-oriented, organised and able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines
- Able to work independently where required with initiative
- Excited about the opportunity of working in the fashion and retail sector
