Position: Action Officer I
Action Officer I – Active Top Secret (TS) security clearance required for this position
EnGenius is seeking an Action Officer to support a prospective Federal Client in Arlington, VA. This position is contingent upon contract award. The role requires an individual who can track and drive actions, milestones, and policy recommendations across a government environment.
Responsibilities
- Work with key government stakeholders to understand, track, and drive project status, actions, milestones, and schedules to closure.
- Conduct organizational studies and evaluations to assist government leadership with decision making, policy formulation, and management functions.
- Develop and implement tracking tools and systems to monitor the status of actions and deliverables across the office.
- Prepare operations and procedures documentation, briefings, and reports to support government leadership.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure actions are completed on time and communicated appropriately.
- Manage preparation of read-ahead materials, meeting documentation, and follow-up action items.
- Assist in maintaining file structures on both classified and unclassified systems to ensure efficient access and retrieval of documentation.
Experience Required
- 2 years of experience working with key stakeholders to understand and track project status, actions, milestones, and schedules.
- Experience utilizing tools for tracking project progress across multiple programs or work streams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to produce clear, concise documentation under tight deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Prior experience supporting a defense research and development agency such as the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) or Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA).
- Familiarity with SharePoint environments.
Security Requirements
- Active Top Secret security clearance. Verification will be required.
