About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative, and enthusiastic individual to join our Benefits and Community Support Division as an Administrative Specialist I/II. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting case management teams, engaging with clients, managing program data, and ensuring compliance with program guidelines. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to meaningful community work while developing your administrative skills within a dynamic government environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining the efficiency and integrity of our benefits programs, ensuring clients receive the support they need in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- One (1) year of experience in a directly related field or performing similar office administrative duties for Administrative Specialist I.
- For Administrative Specialist II: Must have either one (1) year of experience as an Administrative Specialist I or two (2) years of experience in a related field or similar administrative responsibilities.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and familiarity with database management systems.
- Ability to review and analyze reports and documentation accurately.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining data integrity.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily administrative, operational, and clerical support to TANF and Employment First (EF) case management teams.
- Act as a primary point of contact for program participants, assisting them through their program journey and addressing inquiries.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS) to ensure proper tracking and reporting.
- Monitor and analyze state-issued reports to verify data accuracy and compliance with program guidelines.
- Process incoming participant paperwork, ensuring all documentation is complete and properly filed.
- Track program compliance data, manage documentation, and update files regularly to maintain accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes and support program goals.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all relevant policies and regulations.
