Position Summary
IS 440:
Advanced Topics In International Affairs
This seminar course studies major contemporary issues in international affairs within the framework of main relevant theories. The objective is to develop a good understanding of how the political, economic, social and cultural aspects of international issues are interrelated.
Position Requirements
• MA or PhD in International Studies, Political Science or related discipline. Preference related to academic qualifications will be given in the following order: applicants with PhDs; applicants who have completed all PhD coursework and are enrolled in a PhD program; applicants who have completed all PhD coursework but are not currently enrolled in a PhD program; applicants who are enrolled in a PhD program but have not completed PhD coursework;
applicants with a Masters degree.
• Experience with teaching or research related to the course’s subject matter.
• A record of effective teaching at the post-secondary level.
