Position: Advisor for Ontario Works Policy Development
Drive policy development for Ontario Works as a dedicated Advisor.
Your role will involve analyzing and refining policies to ensure effective delivery of financial support services.
This temporary, full-time position demands expertise in Ontario Works regulations and collaboration with various governmental bodies. You will ensure that policies are consistently applied and accessible, empowering staff to provide clear guidance and compliance. Additionally, you’ll manage training and development for program staff on effective best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret Ontario Works regulations
• Develop policy options and management practices
• Liaise with multiple ministries for policy alignment
• Monitor the impact of legislative changes
• Create and present comprehensive policy reports
Requirements:
• Educational background in Public Administration or similar
• Strong experience with social assistance legislation
• Proven ability to prioritize and manage projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of privacy and auditing standards
