Job Summary
The AMS Case Manager is responsible for ensuring the timely completion, quality, and compliance of specialty examination visits ordered under government contracts. This fully remote role serves as a central coordination point between applicants, provider offices, internal CIV teams, and government contract stakeholders, ensuring all services meet contractual and regulatory standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish, manage, and maintain national provider relationships and contracts to support AMS specialty exam services in a remote environment.
- Coordinate and assist applicants virtually with the scheduling and completion of required specialty examination visits.
- Conduct detailed medical records reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with government contract requirements.
- Serve as a primary liaison between the CIV Team, applicants, provider offices, and government contract officials through phone, email, and internal systems.
- Manage and resolve escalations from provider offices related to AMS visits, ensuring timely and professional resolution.
- Answer incoming phone calls for the CIV Team – Remedials call group, providing accurate guidance and customer support while working remotely.
- Maintain thorough documentation, case notes, and data entry within case management and tracking systems.
- Effectively manage shifting priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced, compliance‑driven remote work environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support operational and contractual objectives.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Strong proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe PDF.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage professionally in a virtual setting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and remain productive in a remote environment.
- High degree of attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when handling sensitive medical and applicant information.
- Proven data entry experience and comfort working in case management, CRM, or workflow systems.
- Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and follow‑up skills.
Education and Experience
- College degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience in healthcare administration, case management, medical records review, government contracting, or a similar field.
Remote Work Requirements
- Ability to work full‑time from a remote/home office environment.
- Reliable high‑speed internet connection and a secure, private workspace suitable for handling confidential information.
- Ability to communicate effectively via phone, email, and virtual collaboration tools throughout the workday.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
- Ability to participate in frequent phone and video communications.
- Ability to work 8:30-5pm et Monday-Friday.
