Drive aquatic environmental compliance as an Environmental Advisor in a hybrid work setting. Utilize your expertise in fisheries management and technical studies to support regulatory approvals and environmental programs.

In this pivotal role, you will report to the Section Manager and provide technical leadership in environmental program delivery. With 6–8 years of experience, you’ll ensure compliance with the Federal Fisheries Act and collaborate with various agencies. Engage effectively with stakeholders to manage relationships and support internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and enhance the Environmental Management System

• Lead technical studies on fish populations and I&E

• Prepare and submit fisheries-related permits and documentation

• Provide compliance advice and risk management strategies

• Liaise with regulators and agencies for compliance support

Requirements:

• 4-year degree in Engineering or Environmental Science

• 6–8 years in environmental management or fisheries

• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation

• Experience engaging with Indigenous communities

• Excellent communication and analytical skills
