The Company
Our client is a well-established New Zealand organisation operating a complex, multi-entity business model with a strong national footprint.
They are currently undertaking a significant programme of work focused on modernising systems, improving connectivity, and driving greater automation across their technology landscape.
You'll join a collaborative delivery environment working across internal teams, external partners, and vendors to support critical transformation initiatives.
The Role
Note; This is a 4 day-a-week position – so you geta 3 day weekend every week for 6 months.
This role will see you working on integration and connectivity initiatives, focused on improving how systems and processes interact across the organisation and its external partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements for system and integration initiatives
- Engage with business and external stakeholders to understand processes, rules, and data requirements
- Facilitate workshops to validate requirements and align on future state solutions
- Support data mapping and system interaction design across multiple platforms
- Contribute to testing activities (SIT/UAT) and end-to-end workflow validation
- Identify and manage risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges
- Support process improvement and change impact analysis
- Assist with rollout activities including pilot phases and continuous improvement
Your Profile
We're looking for a strong, delivery-focused Business Analyst who is comfortable operating in a multi-stakeholder environment.
You will bring:
- Proven experience delivering business analysis across transformation or technology programmes
- Experience working on system integration or cross-platform initiatives
- Strong stakeholder engagement and workshop facilitation skills
- Ability to translate complex requirements into clear documentation
- Experience supporting testing phases and delivery lifecycle
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Exposure to complex or regulated environments is beneficial
- A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to work at pace
