Qualifications
- Basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Visio
- Introductory knowledge of SQL and BPA (Business Process Analysis) capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Interest in healthcare concepts, claims processing, and re-engineering business processes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Basic understanding of software testing and requirements gathering
- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework or degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Analyze client business needs and document system requirements and processes
- Translate client requirements into clear, non-technical language for technical teams
- Create basic conceptual data and process models to assess potential system changes
- Participate in technical reviews and inspections to ensure client expectations are met
- Verify that system designs incorporate client requirements through testing and analysis
- Assist in executing and analyzing test case scenarios based on existing test plans
- Support requirements gathering, process mapping, and data analysis activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative healthcare solutions
- Continuously expand technical skills in software applications and data analysis tools
- Maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders throughout project lifecycle
