This critical position requires full-time training, culminating in independent work after buddy shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency medical call taking and dispatch services
• Evaluate and process emergency and non-emergency calls
• Make key decisions in the EMS dispatch process
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
• Emergency Medical Dispatch certification, provided upon hire
• Current Basic Life Support certification
