Intent of the process
This inventory may be used for casual employment opportunities at the H Division Headquarters (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia) and various other locations within the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) in Nova Scotia.
Note:
Casual employment is TEMPORARY employment of 90 working days or less in a given calendar year. Casual employment may be used to meet temporary needs arising from vacation, sick leave, training, special projects, etc. Casual workers are not eligible to apply on internal advertisements. Conditions of employment
Reliability Status security clearance – Varies according to the work to be performed. ie. RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status, Secret or Top Secret Security accordance with the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) Directive on Security Screening, effective January 6, 2025, Canadian citizenship is a requirement for a Top Secret clearance. Please note that while a Top Secret clearance is not required at the time of application, all conditions of employment, including security clearance, must be met prior to appointment and maintained for the duration of employment in the position.
