We are seeking a collaborative CFO Peru & Ecuador Countries to work closely & be a sparring partner to the CEO Perú & Ecuador Countries. This is a role at the heart of our strategy creation, and as CFO Perú & Ecuador Countries, you will have a pivotal role in ensuring we meet business objectives and achieve a successful performance against our ambitions.
Main Challenges
The incumbent will lead financial planning and control of our legal entities in Perú & Ecuador Countries. You will have the ultimate responsibility for the integrity of books and records, and for an effective Risk Management and Internal Control System. We also look to you to be the “Voice of the Countries” within the global organization, driving innovation and end-to-end improvements across the regional company.
- Act as a trusted partner to the CEO Perú & Ecuador Countries and the management team, collaborate in the formulation of the strategy and in the achievement of strategic and business objectives
- You will represent Siemens towards external stakeholders as a partner of the CEO.
- Lead the financial planning and controlling of the entity, the operational Offer-to-Cash processes as well as finance-related support processes like treasury, tax, facility management and IT as in-company manager; in this respect you will closely collaborate with the regional finance team as well as the related functions
- Act as advisor to the business accountable management of the different units in all finance related topics
- Provide input on major critical business decisions as well as proactively monitor government regulations and represent the company towards external stakeholders
- Act as the Investors’ Advocate by protecting the assets and driving sustainable value creation e.g. by supporting, yet carefully reviewing relevant investments in mergers and acquisitions, periodically evaluating the portfolio of the company and leading initiatives to reduce the asset base
- Have ultimate responsibility for the integrity of books and records and for an effective risk management and internal control system for Perú & Ecuador Countries
- Lead the implementation and/or administration of Finance policies, guidelines, programs, and standards, in Perú & Ecuador Countries.
- Ensure that quality standards for Finance operations and processes are always met, inclusive of the understanding and requirements
- Manage completion of Colombia country budget planning and decide on allocation of financial and personnel resources
- Support in liaising with external parties (i.e. auditors, banks, vendors, clients) in contractual matters authority levels and enable knowledge transfer within the organization
- Act as role model for diversity, equity and inclusion, and act as “Voice of the Perú & Ecuador countries” within the regional/global organization and drive innovation as well as end-to-end improvements into the country/ region
Helping us drive our future vision, your toolkit may include some of these key skills
- 10+ years of experience in a Finance role, highly desirable experiences in different countries and cultures. Will be a plus experience in Finance roles with profit & loss responsibility.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in business or accounting or finance or equivalent profession accreditation.
- Ideally gained experience in working with corporate functions, such as Finance, Treasury, Accounting, Taxes, SFS etc.
- Ability to assess the overall performance of a company such as strategy, sales, major projects and so on.
- Need seasoned leadership & management abilities to guide multiple teams with highly qualified individuals.
- Have strong knowledge in financial controlling and management accounting (IFRS) and Siemens FRGs, reporting systems/environment.
- Fluent in English and Spanish (mandatory)
- Are proactive, dynamic, decisive & results oriented. As well as collaborative and a team player with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
