About the Role: As part of its continued expansion, Rabban Al-Safina Group is seeking to appoint a distinguished Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Group level. This senior executive role is designed for a highly accomplished commercial leader with a strong track record in diversified groups or major companies. The ideal candidate must bring proven experience in driving growth, leading negotiations, building partnerships, expanding markets, and managing commercial performance locally and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the Group’s commercial strategy.
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion.
- Lead major contract negotiations, agreements, tenders, and bids.
- Build strategic partnerships with government entities, investors, international organizations, and key stakeholders.
- Manage strategic accounts and high-value customer relationships.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
- Build and lead a high-performing commercial team.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, investment evaluation, and commercial risk management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 15+ years of commercial experience, including at least 10+ years in senior leadership roles.
- For candidates from large diversified groups or major corporations, 20+ years total experience is highly preferred.
- Previous experience as CCO, Commercial Director, Business Development Director, Sales Director, or equivalent executive role.
- Strong background in energy, power generation, oil & gas, EPC, infrastructure, industrial manufacturing, technology, or holding companies.
- Deep understanding of the Iraqi market, with strong exposure to international business practices.
- Proven ability to lead revenue growth, strategic partnerships, major contracts, tendering, and commercial transformation.
- Strong executive presence, negotiation capability, leadership maturity, and professional reputation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or Management; MBA is preferred.
