Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Kuwait City for a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist. The psychiatrist will conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose and create treatment plans for young individuals with mental health needs. Responsibilities include administering appropriate biological treatments such as medications or brain stimulation therapies, collaborating with other mental health professionals and caregivers, and closely monitoring patients’ progress. The psychiatrist will also integrate a holistic approach to ensure the best outcomes for young clients.
Qualifications
• Medical Degree (MD/MBBS or equivalent) with board certification in Child Psychiatry from a recognized institution.
• Valid license/registration as a Psychiatrist in the country of practice.
• Minimum of 3 years post-specialization experience.
• Bilingual both in Arabic and English language is a MUST candidates that do not speak Arabic should not apply.
• Eligible for professional licensure with the Kuwait Ministry of Health.
