About the Opportunity
Our client within the financial services sector is seeking a  Commission & Payroll Analyst  to support their Finance team. This role is  primarily focused on sales commission calculations, analysis, and reporting , working closely with Sales leadership to ensure accurate payouts and resolve commission-related inquiries. This is a  hands‑on, standalone role  requiring someone confident working with  commission structures, Excel models, and sales stakeholders .

Responsibilities

Calculate and validate  sales commissions  for internal teams and external agents

Maintain and update  Excel‑based commission models

Investigate and resolve  commission discrepancies and variances

Partner with  Sales and Finance  on commission reporting and inquiries

Support  payroll reviews, reconciliations, and month‑end activities

Skills & Qualifications

3–5+ years of experience in  commission analysis, incentive compensation, or payroll/finance roles with commission exposure

Strong experience working with  commission structures  (e.g., variable pay, tiers, draw)

Advanced Excel ( VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables )

Experience with  reconciliations and journal entries

Comfortable working directly with  Sales stakeholders
