Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Communication Supervisor to support the planning, execution, and management of corporate communications initiatives across a large-scale destination development organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening the organization's reputation, managing media relations, supporting executive communications, and ensuring consistent messaging across internal and external stakeholders.

This role requires a communications professional with strong experience in media engagement, corporate communications, stakeholder management, and reputation management, preferably gained within listed companies, major development projects, tourism, hospitality, real estate, or other high-profile organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement corporate communication plans that align with organizational objectives and support strategic initiatives
  • Manage relationships with local, regional, and international media outlets to enhance brand visibility and maintain positive media coverage
  • Draft, review, and distribute press releases, media statements, executive communications, speeches, talking points, and corporate announcements
  • Monitor media coverage and industry developments, providing timely insights and recommendations to leadership
  • Support crisis communication and reputation management initiatives, ensuring consistent and effective messaging during sensitive situations
  • Coordinate communication activities related to major projects, corporate milestones, events, partnerships, and stakeholder engagements
  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop communication materials and ensure alignment with corporate messaging
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with government entities, industry partners, investors, consultants, and external stakeholders
  • Support internal communication initiatives that promote employee engagement and organizational culture
  • Ensure all communication materials comply with corporate governance requirements, brand standards, and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with marketing, public affairs, and project teams to deliver integrated communication campaigns
  • Track communication effectiveness and prepare regular reports on media performance, stakeholder engagement, and communication outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Corporate Communications, Media Relations, Public Relations, or Stakeholder Engagement
  • Proven experience managing relationships with local and international media
  • Strong background in press release development, media engagement, corporate announcements, and reputation management
  • Experience working within a publicly listed company is highly preferred
  • Exposure to destination development, tourism, hospitality, real estate development, infrastructure, or large-scale projects is highly advantageous
  • Experience supporting executive leadership and engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, communication protocols, and reputation management principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced and dynamic environment
