As a communications intern with Natural Resources, you will have the opportunity to gain meaningful and varied experiences. You will gain experience developing content for and using a variety of platforms to engage with Nova Scotians about government priorities and actions.
About Our Opportunity
As a communications intern, you will work with other communications professionals to provide communications support services including content development for various platforms, including but not limited to, news releases, social media, fact sheets, backgrounders, messages, and speeches. In addition, you will provide support for social media account planning and management, and event planning. You will also gain experience in project management, government procurement, and assist in the field of public opinion research as it relates to marketing and communications.
This may include some analysis of research results, helping to develop reports, and responding to internal inquiries.

Previous government experience and French language skills would be considered assets.

This is an internship employment opportunity with anticipated end date of June 30, 2028. The appointment status (‘term’, ‘temporary’ or ‘casual’) is dependent on the start date of the successful candidate.
