Role Summary
Seeking an experienced Community Affairs Manager to lead stakeholder engagement, landowner relations, community development, and social performance activities in support of mining operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with landowners, communities, government agencies, NGOs, and local stakeholders.
- Lead community engagement, consultation, and grievance management processes.
- Support land access negotiations and resolve community-related issues.
- Coordinate community development initiatives, including education, livelihoods, and local business programs.
- Identify and mitigate community risks to ensure operational continuity.
- Support government relations and compliance with community commitments.
- Lead Community Affairs personnel and provide regular reporting to management.
Requirements
- Experience in community relations, stakeholder engagement, or social performance within mining, infrastructure, or related industries.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships in remote and culturally diverse environments.
