Position: Community Engagement Specialist for Indigenous Partnerships
Become a key player in Indigenous partnerships as a Community Engagement Specialist with Green Infrastructure Partners on the Alexandra Bridge Project. This role is dedicated to constructing respectful and collaborative relationships with Indigenous communities.
As the Community Engagement Specialist, you will support community engagement activities, drive social impact assessments, and enforce compliance with socio-economic commitments. Your expertise will guide regulatory engagement tasks while integrating Indigenous perspectives and priorities into every project stage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare community outreach materials and track stakeholder interactions
• Drive social performance reporting and compliance analyses
• Lead assessments identifying socio-economic baselines and impacts
• Advise clients on best practices for socio-economic commitments
• Manage planning for community participation strategies
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education in planning or policy
• Experience in community engagement or impact assessments
• Excellent communication and relationship skills
• Availability for domestic and international travel
• Strong cultural awareness and collaboration skills
