Position: Community Planner I

Key Responsibilities
- Process development permits, variances, and zoning applications
- Present planning reports to Kitimat Council and public
- Conduct research on land use and planning topics
- Liaise with public and other departments
- Represent planning interests at various committees
Requirements
- Degree in community planning or equivalent
- Class 5/7N driver’s license
- RPP designation or eligibility
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and GIS software
- No prior experience required for Planner I
