Title: Compliance Officer/ Manager/Data Protection Officer

Main Responsibilities:

·      Developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance policies and procedures.

 

·      Drafting of compliance, policies and procedures manuals and ensuring the organisation complies with all relevant laws and regulations

 

·      Conducting compliance risk assessments and identifying areas of concern.

 

·      Conducting customer risk assessments and business risk assessments

 

·      Full knowledge on FATCA/CRS Classification and filing process

 

·      Carrying out checks on due diligence

 

·      Overview, review, monitoring, advising and training employees/ team on compliance matters.

 

·      Investigating and reporting compliance violations or issues.

 

·      Maintaining and updating the compliance program/ trainings as regulations change.

 

·      Coordinating with external regulatory bodies as necessary. (Inspections and audits)

 

·      Preparing and submitting compliance reports to senior management, board members and regulators.

 

·      Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices.

 

·      Transaction monitoring and review of application forms and KYC as part of the onboarding process.

 

·      Act as Data Protection Officer for the Management Company

Requirements

-       Degree holder in administration or legal and/or ICAEW/STEP part or fully qualified

-       5+ years’ experience in the financial services sector and/or in a management company

-       An understanding of regulatory and financial reporting regime

-       High managerial and leadership and people skills.

-       Strong decision-making skills.

-       Experience in delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs

Key Competencies

·       Good interpersonal skills to ensure effective working relationships with colleagues within a global team and training the junior administrator;

·       Maintain and develop a wide knowledge and understanding of corporate administration generally, to include anti-money laundering, compliance and relevant legislation.

·       Well organised, with an ability to prioritise work and capable to multi-task/work under tight deadlines

·       Proficiency in MS office applications (Word & Excel)
