Job Summary
Handling of Multi-utility Infrastructure Projects on Turnkey/EPC basis – from system, planning and Engineering to final installation, testing, commissioning, start up, put into service and post project maintenance.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
– Studies and understands project scope of work.
– Leads the Construction team to drive the contractors’ works to completion.
– Monitoring all job site activities and ensure that the construction operations follow project safety, quality and schedule requirements.
– Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with safety regulations.
– Meet contractual conditions of performance.
– Review the work progress on daily basis.
– Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones.
– Analyse, manage and mitigate risks.
– Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
– Directs construction team compliance with contract terms, monitors subcontractors' progress, performance and compliance with contractual commitments.
– Participates in project evaluation, design subcontractor selection, and in the preparation of the Company's qualification/experience statements.
– Manages and directs necessary drawings and submittals as per the contract and follow up till getting approvals.
– Maintains highest standard levels for quality and safety and Makes sure that they are strictly followed at site without any deviation to ensure customer satisfaction and company image.
– Makes a bar chart of all activities with time schedule till final project execution.
– Develop, review, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and ensure alignment with project milestones and contractual obligations.
– Monitor project progress against baseline schedules and implement recovery plans where required.
– Follows up with suppliers for timely delivery and coordinate for inspection, logistics, and after sales service (if needed) accordingly.
– Sets up site and arranging resources for each site activity.
– Successful and timely execution of projects.
– Coaches, Trains and motivates site engineers and preparing them for handling the job independently.
– Performs such other duties as the direct supervisor may from time to time deem necessary.
– Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to achieve project objectives.
– Manage client relationships and represent the company in project progress meetings and technical discussions.
– Coordinate with government authorities and utility providers to secure approvals and facilitate project execution.
– Monitor project budgets, cost performance, and resource utilization to ensure profitability targets are achieved.
– Review and approve subcontractor progress claims and monitor project cash flow.
– Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and contractual requirements.
– Promote and enforce company HSE policies and quality standards across all project activities.
– Lead project quality and safety reviews and ensure closure of observations and corrective actions.
Minimum Requirements
Essential:
– Education: Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
– 10+ years of experience in infrastructure construction and project execution, including at least 3 years in a Construction Manager role overseeing multi-utility, roads, utilities, or EPC projects.
– PMP, Primavera P6 Certification or Project Management related Certification is a must.
– Good knowledge of Primavera Project Management.
– Fully understand the aspects of project and construction management of complex infrastructure projects.
– Excellent problem solving, analytical and business intelligence skills.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language.
– Ability to manage multiple projects adhering to logistics, timescales and deadlines.
– IT literate – MS Office (including Word, Excel and Outlook).
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
– Proficiency in English language.
Desirable:
– Experience of using ERP D 365 to fetch business information is an asset.
– MBA Degree is an asset.
– Proficiency in Arabic language.
– Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment is an asset.
