Position Overview:
The Senior Contract Manager is responsible for the administration, management, and oversight of federal government contracts, task orders, subcontracts, and related contractual activities. This role supports all phases of the contract lifecycle, including proposal support, contract negotiation, task order management, compliance monitoring, subcontract administration, and closeout activities.
The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of FAR, AMS, and government contracting practices, along with the ability to work cross-functionally with executive leadership, finance, program management, subcontractors, and government customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Administer prime contracts, task orders, and subcontracts throughout the contract lifecycle.
· Review and interpret contract terms, conditions, modifications, and funding actions.
· Ensure compliance with FAR, AMS, subcontract terms, and company policies.
· Maintain contract files, records, and documentation in accordance with audit and compliance requirements.
· Support contract closeout activities and records retention requirements.
· Draft, review, negotiate, and administer subcontract agreements, NDAs, teaming agreements, and modifications.
· Coordinate subcontractor onboarding, funding modifications, labor category updates, and rate negotiations.
· Monitor subcontractor compliance with contractual requirements, funding limitations, and reporting obligations.
· Review task order awards, ATPs, funding modifications, and ceiling adjustments.
· Track POPs, funding status, labor categories, and contract ceilings.
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Contracts, Finance, Legal Studies, or related field.
· 7+ years of federal government contracting experience.
· Strong understanding of FAR, contract administration, and subcontract management.
· Experience supporting FAA contracts and familiarity with AMS preferred.
· Experience with Time & Materials (T&M), Cost Reimbursable, and Fixed Price contract types.
· Strong organizational, communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
