WHO WE ARE HIRING: A Contract Manager – Provider Services Module (PSM)
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
Serve as the single point of contact for matters concerning the Provider Services Module Vendor’s performance under the Contract while ensuring compliance with State law, policies, procedures, and contractual obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary Agency and Provider Services Module Vendor point of contact for matters relating to the Contract.
- Make decisions that are binding to the Contract and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
- Ensure compliance with State law, policies and procedures, and Contract terms.
- Facilitate Contract transactions upon Agency request.
- Use analysis tools and other information sources to monitor PSM Vendor compliance with general Contract specifications.
- Follow established policies and procedures as required by the Contract while continually striving to deliver greater value.
- Manage the change order process.
- Monitor contract deliverables.
- Manage contract renewals and extensions.
- Serve as a liaison between Program Managers, Procurement, and the Contracts Department to ensure seamless contract renewals.
- Oversee contract management activities to ensure the contract is monitored and executed in accordance with established policies.
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with contract requirements related to quality, quantity, timeliness, and cost.
- Ensure significant events are documented and records of monitoring results are maintained in a detailed and organized audit file, including correspondence, amendments, and meeting documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience serving on a multi-million-dollar State Government Medicaid, MMIS, or Provider Management Services initiative.
- Demonstrated experience managing vendor performance and contractual compliance.
- Experience facilitating contract transactions and managing contract-related processes.
- Strong understanding of State Government contracting policies and procedures.
- Experience monitoring contract deliverables, renewals, and extensions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively across departments.
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience supporting Medicaid modernization or Provider Services Module initiatives.
- Experience with contract audit preparation and compliance reporting.
- Familiarity with healthcare technology or MMIS systems environments.
