JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Does Legal research (on laws, regulations and circulars of the SEC, PDIC, BSP. etc).
  • Prepares abstracts based on the research on subject matter assigned.
  • Drafts reports, letters responses and documents for review by the Assistant CorSec and signature of the CorSec.
  • Coordinates with the various internal units of the Bank such as Finance & Comptrollership, Compliance Division, Corporate Banking Group, Retail banking Group, Operations, Treasury Management Group & Credit Group for data accuracy and completeness in assisting in preparing legal & regulatory compliance reports for submission to pertinent Government Agencies.
  • Generates required reports to the SEC, PSP, PDIC, etc.
  • Files and submits reportorial and compliance reports on time as per Government regulatory requirements (SEC -Amendments of AOI, BL; BIR – CAR, RET other tax matters, ect.)
  • Secures permits and licenses and processes payment of taxes on CorSec related transactions.
  • Monitors and provides update on the on the status of report s for filing or filed by the Bank in relation to regulatory requirements above.
  • Coordinate on corporate matters with external entities (such as law firms and shareholder corporations) and Government and/or company officers when necessary and upon instruction from the CorSec.
  • Reviews schedule of subscription payments and drafts reminder letters/statement of accounts and follow-ups collection of payments.
  • Follow the established work process and procedure in the OCS and contribute to its enhancement in order to achieve a high level of quality, productivity and efficiency.
  • Assist in all matters for the preparations and during conduct of the Annual Stockholders, Board of Directors & Board Committees’ meetings.
  • Maintain and record all incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Organize filing system for easy retrieval of vital documents.
  • Ensure confidentiality and integrity of all documents and information received and transmitted.
  • Coordinates with internal departments such as the Executive Offices, Support Services Group, HR, Security, IT etc. to facilitate deadlines, functions and duties.
  • Processes payment authority forms (PAFs) and monitors, facilitate follow-up on processing.
  • Calendars deadlines and meetings of the OCS.
  • Answers telephone and walk-in queries on matters of administrative concerns.
  • Perform CorSec and Legal related tasks not listed above that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fresh graduate of any business course
  • Must be willing to accept the 6 months contract
  • Must be willing to be assigned in Mandaluyong
  • Can start ASAP
