Job Responsibilities:
- Support the company in establishing and maintaining strong relationships with authorities in Nicaragua.
- Build and maintain relationships with senior management of major telecom operators, regional ISPs, and system integrators to explore potential business cooperation opportunities.
- Regularly prepare and submit market and political-business environment analyses, providing insights on policies, industry trends, competition, and potential opportunities (weekly and monthly reports).
- Provide forward-looking recommendations to support the company’s strategic planning and major decision-making in Nicaragua.
- Assist in building and strengthening the company’s brand presence within Nicaragua’s political, business, and telecommunications sectors.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above; majors in public affairs, law, telecommunications, economics, or related fields are preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or the telecommunications industry.
- Familiarity with Nicaragua’s telecommunications and infrastructure policies, with proven experience in facilitating government-enterprise cooperation.
- Strong political acumen, excellent communication skills, and solid crisis management capabilities.
- Languages: Native or fluent Spanish, strong English proficiency; Chinese is a plus.
