Job Profile Summary
Provides visionary leadership and strategic direction to advance IJM’s mission of protecting vulnerable populations from violence through justice system transformation, partnership development, and organizational excellence. This role originates and drives country strategies, cultivates high-impact relationships, and ensures operational, financial, and cultural alignment with IJM’s global goals, while fostering a resilient and high-performing team.
Job Description
- Craft and execute a country strategy that translates IJM’s global vision into measurable impact, aligning with local justice and citizen security systems to protect vulnerable communities.
- Develop and lead multidisciplinary teams by fostering a culture of professional excellence, spiritual formation, and resilience, ensuring high staff engagement and performance.
- Build and advocate strategic partnerships with government, civil society, donors, and corporate stakeholders to catalyze systemic change and secure sustainable resources.
- Innovate and position scalable models of justice system strengthening and survivor care that are replicable across regions and responsive to local contexts.
- Showcase impact and provide insight through data-driven storytelling, public representation, and collaboration with global teams to elevate IJM’s brand and influence.

- Expertise in crafting and managing complex programs that integrate justice system strengthening, survivor care, and community empowerment, with a focus on innovation and scalability.
- Exceptional ability to communicate vision and impact through public speaking, storytelling, and strategic representation, positioning the organization as a trusted leader in the sector.
- Strong knowledge of the Colombian justice system
- Demostrated experience managing budgets of more than $1 million.
Additional Information
This position requires availability for internal travel and fieldwork, and occasionally travel outside of Colombia.
