FyneHand is mandated to hire for the role of Country Head. The role will be based in Bangladesh.
Our client, a leading company in the chemical manufacturing field is looking for a Country Head to be based in Bangladesh.
Key responsibilities:
- Direct P&L responsibility for company business activities in Bangladesh and as a commercial leader, execute & deliver business plans for the country
- Build corporate strategic priorities, define country vision & strategy, business planning & budgeting
- Ensure local product development, address local needs and corporate strategy
- Develop strategic relationships with government authorities to ensure business growth specifically in government projects
- Drive strategic investments in partnership with various stakeholders to support the continued growth, profitability, and sustainability of the business
- Represent and promote company with all necessary local trade associations, government, and regulatory bodies
- Continue driving a performance management culture in the country
- Ensure appropriate operational, commercial and financial KPI’s are employed across the business to provide timely and effective reporting to support day-to-day management of the business
- Continue development of a world class workforce by conceptualizing and implementing specific policies and processes for people management ensuring an attractive local employee value proposition
- Ensure financial practices and compliance are in line with all statutory regulations and legislations
- Represent the organization with major customers, shareholders, governmental regulatory authorities, and be the face of the local business in the eyes of the public
- Ensure suitable contingency plans and risk management steps are in place to ensure minimal / zero disruption to company business / employees in a crisis
- Performs other position related duties as specified by management
Mandatory requirements:
- Engineering degree (in any specialization) is a must
- Citizen of India with experience in Bangladesh market, will be operating from Bangladesh only
- Should know Bengali
