Your mission is to establish Daqo as a leading solution provider in the Japanese market by building long-term strategic partnerships with utilities, EPC contractors, renewable developers, industrial enterprises, and government-affiliated energy bodies.
This is a high-impact, entrepreneurial role where you will shape Daqo’s commercial strategy, drive sustainable revenue growth, and position our products and solutions as the top choice for Japan’s energy revolution.
💼 Key Responsibilities
- Lead Daqo’s market entry and full-cycle business expansion in Japan, with end-to-end ownership of P&L and business development.
- Establish and manage high-level relationships with key stakeholders, including major utilities, power grid operators, renewable IPPs, industrial conglomerates, and regulatory authorities.
- Promote and implement Daqo’s solutions for solar power plants, wind projects, energy storage systems, grid stability, industrial power distribution, and EV charging infrastructure.
- Act as the senior representative of Daqo at industry exhibitions, government seminars, client negotiations, and partner summits.
- Collaborate with global headquarters to optimize product localization, competitive pricing, and full compliance with Japanese electrical and industry standards.
- Track local energy policies, market dynamics, and competitor movements to identify and capture new growth opportunities.
📌 Requirements
- Fluency in Japanese and English is mandatory.
- Based in Japan or willing to relocate to major cities (Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya).
- 7+ years of professional experience in energy, power systems, or industrial B2B sales / business development within Japan.
- In-depth knowledge of Japan’s energy market structure, utility ecosystem, regulatory framework, and key energy projects.
- Demonstrated track record in negotiating and closing large infrastructure and energy deals.
- Entrepreneurial spirit: self-motivated, flexible, and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing global business environment.
