Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for Credentialing Officers based in Islamabad. The Credentialing Officer will be responsible for managing provider credentialing and enrollment processes with insurance payers and regulatory bodies, ensuring that all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time. Daily tasks include collecting and verifying provider information, tracking application statuses, maintaining up-to-date credentialing files, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues. The role also involves monitoring expirations of licenses and certifications, updating databases and systems, and supporting audits and compliance requirements related to credentialing and enrollment. Credentialing Officers will collaborate closely with billing and revenue cycle teams to help minimize claim denials related to provider enrollment.
Qualifications
- Skills in Employee Relations to work effectively with providers, internal teams, and external payers in a professional and supportive manner.
- Familiarity with healthcare credentialing and enrollment processes, including working with insurance panels and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficient in using credentialing or practice management software, spreadsheets, and other office tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language proficiency is a plus.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Human Resources, or a related field; prior experience in medical credentialing or RCM is preferred.
