We are recruiting on behalf of our client for 1 (one) professional, articulate and customer focused individual to join their growing healthcare team as a Customer Care Officer based in Harare.
This is an exciting entry level opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and enjoys building professional relationships within a dynamic healthcare environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer incoming telephone calls promptly, professionally and courteously.
- Respond to patient, clinician and stakeholder enquiries.
- Coordinate communication between patients, healthcare professionals and internal departments.
- Assist with the secure preparation and transmission of diagnostic reports and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate communication records and follow up on outstanding requests where necessary.
- Support referring doctors, hospitals and healthcare facilities through timely and professional communication.
- Assist with general customer service and administrative functions.
- Promote a positive patient and stakeholder experience through excellent communication and professionalism.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in any field, Diploma, Certificate or O/A-Levels. (any of the listed)
- Strong and Crisp Command of English.
- Previous experience in customer service, administration, healthcare or call centre operations is an advantage but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Crisp command of oral English.
- Strong computer literacy and confidence using email and digital communication platforms.
- Professional telephone etiquette and a pleasant speaking manner.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Able to work calmly and efficiently in a fast paced environment while handling multiple enquiries.
