About The Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in leveraging large, complex datasets to influence strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will analyze integrated healthcare data from multiple sources, including provider, member, and third-party data, to extract actionable insights that support cost reduction and improved clinical outcomes. This role involves collaborating with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and data-driven decision-making. The Data Analyst will support large-scale projects, perform root-cause analysis, and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to healthcare analytics initiatives that directly impact member care and organizational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, public health, health informatics, healthcare administration, finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with large databases, data verification, and data management
  • Or 1+ years of IT experience
  • Healthcare analytics experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of SQL/query languages
  • Preferred knowledge of programming languages such as Python and R
  • Understanding of statistical, analytical, or data mining techniques including data modeling and trend analysis
  • Experience with business intelligence and visualization tools
  • Knowledge of claims payment, utilization management, provider/vendor contracts, and risk adjustment is a plus
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and deliver within deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Analyze extensive datasets from multiple healthcare sources to derive meaningful insights
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas of value and develop data-driven solutions
  • Support the execution of large-scale projects with minimal supervision
  • Perform root-cause analysis of data irregularities and present findings with proposed solutions
  • Manage multiple data review processes efficiently within targeted timelines
  • Design, test, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
  • Apply quantitative analysis, data mining, and visualization techniques to understand customer interactions
  • Communicate complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Engage with internal and external customers to gather requirements and validate results
  • Present data-driven recommendations and incorporate feedback effectively
  • Ensure compliance with all organizational policies and standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support organizational goals
