We are seeking an experienced Privacy Governance professional to lead the implementation and continuous enhancement of the organization’s privacy governance framework. The role will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable privacy regulations, data protection standards, and enterprise privacy policies, while supporting broader Information Security and Regulatory Compliance initiatives across the organization.
Respolsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise Privacy Governance Framework.
- Establish privacy policies, standards, procedures, and operating guidelines.
- Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs).
- Maintain Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).
- Review lawful basis for data processing activities.
- Support implementation of Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default principles.
- Review data retention and data disposal practices.
- Conduct data discovery and personal data mapping exercises.
- Review cross-border data transfer controls.
- Evaluate third-party privacy compliance.
- Support data subject rights processes.
- Develop privacy awareness and training programs.
- Support internal and regulatory privacy audits.
- Perform privacy risk assessments.
- Recommend privacy automation tools and GRC solutions.
- Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 27701 and ISO 27001 management systems.
- Review organizational policies, procedures, and SOPs related to privacy and data protection.
- Ensure privacy controls are implemented across business and technology functions.
- Support regulatory audits and privacy compliance assessments.
- Review third-party privacy controls and data-sharing arrangements.
- Prepare privacy compliance reports and management dashboards.
- Monitor privacy risks and remediation activities.
- Deliver awareness sessions on privacy requirements.
- Recommend privacy automation and GRC solutions where applicable.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Information Security, Privacy, or GRC.
- Hands-on experience implementing Privacy Governance or Privacy Management programs.
- Banking or Financial Services experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 27701, ISO 27001, and privacy frameworks.
- Experience with GRC or Privacy Management platforms is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related discipline.
