As a Data Scientist, you will partner with business and technology teams to design and deliver scalable AI and analytics solutions. You’ll work across structured and unstructured data to build intelligent models that enhance search, discovery, and insight generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define AI/analytics use cases and translate business needs into scalable solutions
- Design and develop machine learning models for search, discovery, and predictive insights
- Build NLP, semantic search, and entity resolution capabilities
- Extract insights from document-based data (text, PDFs, OCR outputs, metadata, etc.)
- Work with data engineering teams to deploy models into production environments
- Develop model evaluation frameworks, confidence scoring, and explainability approaches
- Support reporting, dashboards, and analytics solutions for business insights
- Operate in an Agile environment, contributing to iterative development and delivery
- Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Contribute to solution design, proposals, and AI thought leadership initiatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or analytics roles
- Strong experience with:
- NLP, semantic search, and entity resolution
- Working with structured and unstructured datasets (text, documents, images)
- Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch/TensorFlow) and SQL
- Experience with Databricks / Spark-based environments
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services and data lake architectures
- Experience deploying ML models into production (APIs, pipelines, etc.)
- Strong understanding of model evaluation and performance metrics
- Ability to communicate insights effectively across teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Palantir Foundry or AIP
- Consulting or client-facing experience
- Experience building AI-powered search and document intelligence solutions
- Exposure to multimodal data processing (text + images)
- Familiarity with OCR/ICR pipelines
- Experience with enterprise ML platforms (e.g., SageMaker, Databricks ML)
- Knowledge of explainable AI (XAI) and model transparency
- Experience with dashboards, reporting tools, or visualization solutions
- Exposure to regulated or government environments
- Familiarity with graph analytics, ontology models, or relationship mapping
