Job Purpose
To responsible for providing support to Head of Regulatory Reporting and Compliance Unit on reviewing and submission of the data and reports to the relevant authority especially NBC to demonstrate compliance with the necessary regulatory provisions.
Major Areas of Responsibility
- Review and control team for preparing daily weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly reports that need to be submitted to NBC.
- Ensure that the reports are prepared in respectful to the laws and regulations with proper and tidy template.
- Direct and monitor the progress of work to ensure that the reports submitted within the deadline and avoid missing submission.
- Communicate with cooperate governor (NBC, etc.).
- Take initiative on resolution of issues or dependencies with concerned people.
- Develop understanding of related processes and inter-dependability between teams.
- Effective team player ensuring the team goals are achieved through collaboration.
- Other assigned tasks as required by the management.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance or relevant field with CAT or ACCA is preferred.
- Minimum three years experiences in Finance and Accounting, preferably within the banking or financial services industry, including experience in a managerial or leadership role.
- Excellent knowledge in Law on Taxation, NBC regulation, IFRS, etc.
- Excellent numerical skills and ability to spot numerical errors.
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to propose ideas for improvement.
- Excellent reconciling, reporting, problem-solving, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent supervisory, teamwork, time management, and communication skills.
- Ability to use and communicate both Khmer and English.
- Proficient Office 365, Accounting & Finance Application and Bank’s software.
