Role Overview
The Development Manager will lead and support the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial real estate development projects while actively contributing to business growth through deal sourcing, partnerships, and investment opportunities. This role requires a balance of strong project execution skills and strategic business development capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Development & Management
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of commercial real estate development projects from concept to completion
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, architects, and internal teams to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Monitor project performance, risks, and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Oversee feasibility studies, design development, permitting, and construction phases
- Ensure alignment with investment objectives and asset value optimization
2. Business Development & Investment Support
- Identify and evaluate new commercial real estate investment opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with brokers, investors, partners, and key stakeholders
- Conduct market research, financial modeling, and due diligence for potential deals
- Support deal structuring, negotiations, and acquisition processes
- Contribute to portfolio growth strategies and expansion initiatives
3. Stakeholder Management
- Act as the main point of contact between internal teams and external partners
- Present project updates, investment proposals, and reports to senior management
- Manage relationships with government authorities and regulatory bodies
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or related field
- Master’s degree (MBA or Real Estate) is a plus
- 10+ years of experience in real estate development and/or commercial investments
- Proven track record in managing commercial real estate projects
- Experience in business development, deal sourcing, or investment analysis
