About the Role:
The job holder is responsible for managing airport stakeholders’ relations including initial evaluation, planning, preparation, enablement, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation to enhance outreach, maximize KSIA benefits, and strengthen capabilities and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Planning
- Contribute to the development of Corporate Affairs business plan ensuring alignment with KSIA strategy
- Develop the operational plan for Airport Stakeholders Management in line with Corporate Affairs business plan and CEO Office strategic plan
- Implement plans and provide input to enable achievement of Airport Stakeholders Management goals that support KSIA's overall strategic plans
Budget Management
- Discuss Airport Stakeholders Management budgeting requirements with top management and provide input to the budgeting process
- Ensure effective utilization of Airport Stakeholders Management budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
- Ensure effective utilization of the Airport Stakeholders Management budget and report accurately any deviations from set budget
Airport Stakeholders Relations Management
- Manage the development of criteria for the identification and selection of best-fit airport stakeholders ensuring alignment with KSIA strategy
- Review other opportunities of potential airport stakeholders to maximize KSIA benefit and provide preliminary approvals based on set criteria
- Manage the development of a yearly engagement plan for airport stakeholders' relations in coordination with relevant internal/external stakeholders to enhance outreach and strengthen operations and capabilities
- Broaden KSIA networks and strengthen relationships with selected airport stakeholders by fostering credibility, trust, and collaboration, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and promoting mutually benefits
- Represent KSIA in relevant local and global events to establish the organization's presence, enhance its reputation, and cultivate airport sector networks with key industry leaders, decision-makers, and stakeholders
- Manage periodical visits to airport stakeholders and plan events/workshops to maintain and expand relationships ensuring KSIA image is represented and preserved
- Manage the day-to-day communication with airport stakeholders including inbound and outbound queries and ensure needed response is provided to related stakeholders in a timely manner
- Provide guidance in the resolution of escalated complex conflicts by identifying the root causes, facilitating discussions, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders to implement effective solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational policies
- Ensure that all documents related to airport stakeholders' relations are filed and archived according to procedures for tracking and reference
- Monitor the effectiveness of airport stakeholders' relations ensuring maximum value generation, enforce improvement and corrective actions to enhance outcomes, and decide on relations continuation or termination
Policies, Processes and Procedures
- Lead the design and implementation of Airport Stakeholders Management policies and procedures covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural / legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high impact and achieving results effectively and efficiently
- Stay abreast of best practices to enable continuous improvement of systems, processes, and policies related to Airport Stakeholders Management
- Remain abreast of Corporate Affairs leading practice and new trends, and identify recommendations for corrective measures, updates and improvements where required
Stakeholder Management
- Establish working relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Collect feedback from stakeholders on issues being faced and other requirements in order to identify barriers and develop action plans
- Actively gain exposure and insights to local market development, business opportunities and the existing regulatory landscape
- Attend related forums, seminars, etc. to enrich network and learn about the latest developments and opportunities
People Management
- Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talent
- Guide, mentor, and support direct reports in order to execute duties according to set policies and processes
- Develop individual performance objectives, provide necessary support, evaluate/appraise team and provide regular feedback on performance
- Establish a high-performance working environment and promote KSIA values
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, or equivalent is required
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent is preferred
Experience
Minimum 8 years of experience in similar role or equivalent with at least 4 years of experience in a managerial position
