2080 Ventures is a global venture capital and innovation platform working across the United States, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Vietnam, Georgia, Cambodia, Japan, and other emerging markets. We partner with governments, corporations, universities, and ecosystem stakeholders to design and execute accelerator programs, innovation initiatives, investment activities, and entrepreneurship ecosystems.
We are seeking an experienced relationship builder with an existing network and a proven ability to source and close strategic partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage relationships with corporations, government agencies, economic development organizations, universities, and innovation stakeholders.
- Source and secure new contracts for accelerator programs, innovation initiatives, venture building programs, training programs, and ecosystem development projects.
- Identify and pursue RFPs, RFIs, grants, and strategic opportunities.
- Lead proposal development, including writing, coordination, and submission.
- Build relationships with decision-makers and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities.
- Represent 2080 Ventures at conferences, events, and meetings.
- Collaborate with the leadership team on growth strategy and international expansion.
- Maintain CRM and business development activities.
- Support partnership negotiations and contract discussions.

Within the first 3 months, the Director of Government & Corporate Partnerships will:
- Build a qualified pipeline of strategic opportunities.
- Secure new contracts with governments, corporations, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Lead proposal development and submissions.
- Expand 2080 Ventures' network and strategic relationships.
- Help establish 2080 Ventures as a leading partner for innovation and entrepreneurship programs globally.
Compensation
Competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives and commissions tied directly to contracts sourced and closed.
Applicants should demonstrate a history of relationship-driven business development and provide examples of contracts, partnerships, or initiatives they have helped secure.
