EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The following position is available immediately and will remain open until filled. Successful candidates will reside in the community of Délı̨nę, Northwest Territories. A competitive benefits package is available.
DIRECTOR OF LANGUAGE
The Délı̨nę Got’ın̨ę Government is seeking a passionate and experienced language professional to lead the development and implementation of language programs in Délı̨nę.
If you are an experienced language professional with previous experience in language development and delivery, and you are openminded, excited by new experiences and ready to embrace change, this role is for you. If your heart and passion are calling you to apply your skills and experience to make a difference in language, this role is for you. If you understand and embrace a holistic approach to language and you recognize that community, culture and traditions are integral to the development of language, this role is definitely for you.
Salary will be negotiable based on combination of education, skills and experience. Consultant and other expert assistance may be available to assist the incumbent to create the best plans and programs possible, and to assist with transition into the role.
Preference will be given to Délı̨nę beneficiaries.
