As NexDeed continues to grow, we are seeking a Director of Marketing to lead the company’s overall marketing strategy, market positioning, and communication with the industry. This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the company presents a clear and credible message to the market while supporting demand generation and long term growth.

The Director of Marketing will oversee the development and execution of the company’s marketing strategy across messaging, digital presence, product communication, demand generation, and industry outreach. The role will work closely with leadership and cross functional teams to ensure marketing efforts align with the company’s strategic objectives and evolving market position.

This role will also help build the foundation of the company’s marketing function, establishing processes, messaging frameworks, and marketing programs that can scale as the organization grows. A key responsibility will be translating NexDeed’s platform architecture and technology capabilities into clear and compelling market messaging for customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop and manage the company’s overall marketing strategy and execution plan
  • Define and maintain the company’s market positioning and core messaging
  • Translate NexDeed’s platform architecture and technology capabilities into clear messaging for customers, partners, and industry stakeholders
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to translate NexDeed’s platform architecture and technical capabilities into clear market messaging, positioning, and customer value propositions
  • Ensure marketing initiatives support the company’s growth strategy and commercial objectives
  • Establish marketing priorities as the company scales=
  • Ensure consistent messaging across website, digital channels, marketing materials, and investor communications
  • Position NexDeed as a thought leader in digital ownership infrastructure and the modernization of real estate systems

Demand Generation and Growth Marketing

  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies that generate market interest and support sales pipeline development
  • Develop distribution strategies that convert industry awareness and engagement into measurable pipeline opportunities that support sales
  • Oversee digital marketing initiatives including website optimization, content strategy, social media presence, and campaign execution
  • Coordinate with sales leadership to ensure marketing programs support pipeline development and customer engagement
  • Develop structured marketing campaigns that convert engagement into sales conversations
  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust marketing strategies based on results and market feedback

Outreach Network Activation

  • Develop structured campaigns to activate NexDeed’s existing outreach network of more than 200,000 real estate professionals across the Northeast
  • Build communication programs that drive awareness, education, and engagement across that network
  • Convert network engagement into qualified interest and potential pipeline opportunities

Content and Market Communication

  • Oversee development of marketing content including thought leadership, product messaging, announcements, and customer communication
  • Ensure the company maintains a clear and professional presence across digital channels and public facing materials
  • Coordinate announcements, updates, and milestone communications as the company grows
  • Support leadership in preparing external messaging and strategic communications

Cross Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with sales, product, and leadership teams to ensure marketing messaging reflects product capabilities and market strategy
  • Coordinate marketing initiatives that support sales enablement and customer engagement
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment between marketing efforts and company priorities
  • Build internal processes that ensure marketing activities remain organized and scalable

Team Development and Marketing Infrastructure

  • Help build and scale the marketing function as the company grows
  • Establish processes, tools, and workflows that support consistent marketing execution

Qualifications

  • Experience leading marketing strategy for a technology company, startup, or high growth organization
  • Strong background in brand development, messaging, and market positioning
  • Experience managing digital marketing, content strategy, and demand generation programs
  • Experience marketing SaaS products and translating complex technology platforms into clear market messaging
  • Experience marketing to enterprise, financial services, real estate, or government stakeholders
  • Strong organizational and leadership capabilities
  • Experience working closely with executive leadership and cross functional teams
  • Ability to operate effectively in an early stage or rapidly growing company environment

Preferred Experience

  • Experience building marketing functions in early stage or scaling companies
  • Background working with sales leadership to support pipeline development
  • Familiarity with digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and campaign management
  • Experience marketing complex infrastructure platforms such as SaaS, fintech, govtech, or real estate technology

Compensation

Compensation for this role will include a competitive base salary along with an equity grant aligned with senior leadership roles in early stage companies, structured with standard vesting terms. The equity component is designed to ensure alignment with the company’s long term growth and value creation.

The Director of Marketing will play a critical role in shaping how NexDeed presents itself to the market and how effectively it communicates its value to customers, partners, and stakeholders. This role is designed for a marketing leader who approaches marketing as a revenue discipline, someone who can build awareness, activate NexDeed’s distribution network, and consistently translate engagement into pipeline opportunities that support sales.
