Job Summary
As part of the Innovation Commercialisation (Ecosystem Division), the heart of Malaysia’s technology acceleration, your mission will be to harmonise data, engage high-level stakeholders, and manage the financial and operational rigour required to meet national goals.
This position will be on a Contract-For-Service basis for the period of 7 months from June 2026 until December 2026, accelerating the "Lab-to-Market" journey. Driving two national-level initiatives: the National Technology & Innovation Sandbox (NTIS) and the Research, Development, Innovation, Commercialisation and Economy (RDICE) Coordination Office.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assistant Manager, Stakeholder Management
- Focus: RDICE Coordination Office.
- Role: Lead strategic engagement with ministries, agencies, and IHL leaders to drive the adoption of market-oriented commercialisation metrics. You will align industry “problem statements” with research capabilities to accelerate demand-driven innovation and commercialisation outcomes.
2. Senior Associate, Data Intelligence & Analytics
- Focus: RDICE Coordination Office.
- Role: Standardise disparate datasets from ministries and universities into a standardised national framework (TRL, CRL, and IP status). You will update commercialisation data submissions, design and maintain the Central RDICE Commercialisation Dashboard.
3. Senior Associate, Outreach Engagement Liaison
- Focus: Sandbox Initiative.
- Role: Drive active engagement with prospective applicants and partners while managing outreach activities like roadshows and workshops. You will also maintain social media presence and manage stakeholders.
4. Senior Associate, Budget & Reporting
- Focus: Sandbox Initiative.
- Role: Oversee budget planning, utilisation tracking, and financial reporting for RMK-funded projects. You will ensure compliance with government funding guidelines and coordinate financial handovers to stakeholders.
Job Requirements
To be successful in these roles, candidates should generally possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Finance, IT, Data Science, Public Policy, or Business).
- Proven track record in your respective field, with specific experience in government-funded projects, R&D ecosystems, or stakeholder management being a significant advantage.
- Exceptional verbal and written skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external government partners.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain data integrity, and adapt swiftly to evolving programme needs.
