In this role, you will report to the Supervisor of By-Law Enforcement, applying your expertise to uphold municipal and provincial property standards. Engage with the community through educational initiatives, conduct thorough investigations, and ensure compliance with safety regulations to enhance neighborhood safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investigate by-law infractions and property complaints
• Identify potential safety issues in residential and commercial properties
• Conduct inspections and issue reports on non-compliance
• Liaise with various governmental agencies for enforcement matters
• Facilitate community education on by-law requirements
Requirements:
• High School diploma with relevant training in enforcement
• 2-4 years experience in enforcement or building regulations
• Valid Ontario driver’s license
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Knowledge of building and municipal laws
