Role Description This is a full-time, on-site English Tutor role based in Barka. The English Tutor will plan and deliver engaging English lessons that develop students’ reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching classes, providing individual and small-group support, and monitoring student progress. The tutor will assess student performance, give constructive feedback, and adjust instruction to meet different learning needs. Additional tasks may include maintaining accurate records, communicating with learners and guardians as needed, and participating in staff meetings or professional development activities.
Qualifications
- Strong English Teaching and Tutoring skills, with the ability to support learners at various proficiency levels.
- Proficiency in English Grammar and the ability to explain rules and usage clearly and accurately.
- Effective Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to engage diverse learners.
- Experience with Online Tutoring platforms and digital tools for teaching is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
- Teaching certifications (e.g., TEFL, TESOL, CELTA) are beneficial.
- Ability to manage a classroom, organize lessons, and adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
