The Opportunity
As an Enterprise Information Officer at the City of Perth, you will play a key role in transforming how we manage and use information across the City. Working collaboratively with stakeholders, you will ensure information is captured, stored, and shared effectively in line with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
Reporting to the Coordinator Enterprise Information Management, your responsibilities would primarily include:
- Daily management of a Records HelpDesk addressing EDRMS user issues, adhoc training, troubleshooting and advice;
- Assisting with projects and initiatives to improve recordkeeping processes and efficiency;
- Maintaining compliance with legislation and City policies, reviewing procedures and work instructions; and
- Managing records, archival and disposal programs, and optimise EDRMS workflows.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will possess:
- Tertiary qualification in Information Management or related discipline and relevant experience;
- Demonstrated experience in the daily management of a Records Help Desk, supporting EDRMS users through issue resolution, troubleshooting, ad hoc training, and records management advice;
- Understanding and working knowledge of records and information management legislation, standards and practices;
- Demonstrated interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with customer service experience; and
- Time management skills with an ability to manage priorities and be flexible to changing circumstances.
