We are seeking an entrepreneurial executive with extensive experience in shipping, ports, logistics and economic zones to drive strategic partnerships, develop new business lines and unlock major investment opportunities. This is a build-from-the-ground-up role, requiring someone who has successfully established new ventures, forged high-value partnerships and delivered commercial growth in complex infrastructure environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the organisation's business partnerships and commercial growth strategy.
- Identify, secure and manage strategic partnerships across shipping, ports, logistics, industrial and economic zones.
- Create new revenue streams and business lines aligned with the organisation's long-term objectives.
- Lead business development, investment attraction and commercial negotiations with public and private sector partners.
- Build relationships with global port operators, shipping lines, logistics providers, developers and investors.
- Support the development of investment cases, commercial models and joint venture opportunities.
- Represent the organisation with senior government stakeholders and international partners.
Candidate Profile
- 15+ years' experience in business development, strategic partnerships or commercial leadership within the ports, shipping, maritime or logistics sectors.
- Proven track record of building businesses, launching new commercial ventures or establishing new operating models—not simply managing existing operations.
- Strong network across the maritime, ports, logistics and industrial development sectors.
- Experience attracting investment, negotiating complex commercial agreements and developing strategic partnerships.
- Commercially astute with excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
