IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:
Be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the IPTV Headend, ensuring the reliable performance of dish antennas, LNBs, encoders, IRDs, and multi-view service monitoring systems. Managed headend infrastructure, including power, cooling, and HSE compliance, while coordinating with NOC, Transport, IP Network teams, vendors, commercial stakeholders, and regulatory bodies such as PEMRA and PTA. Maintained strong relationships with IPTV content providers and media channels, administered IP networking, switches, and routers, conducted regular preventive maintenance and disaster recovery drills, and actively supported channel upgrades, hardware enhancements, and headend redesign initiatives to improve service reliability and operational efficiency.
HOW CAN YOU EXPRESS YOUR TALENT:
- Handling of issues related to Dish Antennas, LNB, Encoders, IRDs & Multi-View Service monitoring
- O&M of IPTV Headend
- O&M of Infrastructure, Power, Cooling, HSE etc.
- Liaising with NOC, Transport, IP Network, Vendors, Commercial & PEMRA/PTA team
- Liaising with IPTV content providers/Media Channels
- Working on switches & Routers IP Networking & routing
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
Qualification:
Education:
- BS Engineering (Telecommunication, Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, etc.)
Experience:
- Preferable with three years experience in IPTV filed
Technical Competency:
- IP Networking, routing & switching
- Experience in IPTV platform/ Middleware/STBs etc
- O&M of IPTV Headend & Channels broadcasting systems
