What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing, editing, proofreading, and formatting legal and transactional documents
- Supporting real estate and corporate transactions from initiation through completion
- Managing and maintaining digital and physical files to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Conducting title searches, company searches, and obtaining transaction-related documentation
- Coordinating with government agencies, financial institutions, clients, and external stakeholders
- Tracking critical deadlines and ensuring transactions progress efficiently
- Managing calendars, meetings, correspondence, and administrative priorities
- Assisting with transaction closings and preparing closing documentation
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a legal, conveyancing, real estate, or transactional support role
- Strong knowledge of real estate transactions and legal documentation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy
- Professional, discreet, and client-service oriented
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Business Management, Secretarial Science, or related field; OR
- Certified Professional Secretary (CPS), Certified Administrative Professional (CAP), or Paralegal Certification
- Experience working within a law firm, conveyancing practice, financial services firm, or corporate environment
