Job Summary:
A private farming institution in the UAE is seeking a capable and hands-on Farm Manager to lead the management and coordination of daily operations across multiple farms in Ras Al Khaimah.
This role is designed for a mid-career professional ready to take full ownership of farm operations, combining practical experience with strong organizational and leadership capabilities. The Farm Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all farm activities across crop production, livestock, and beekeeping operations.
The farm operates across multiple locations and spans approximately 50 acres in total. Its operations include:
- Five date farms with approximately 5,000 palm trees
- Three fruit and vegetable farms with around 3,000 olive trees and 3,000 other fruit trees
- One livestock farm housing approximately 400 animals, including sheep, goats, and others
- Three bee farms with a total of around 3,000 beehives
- One greenhouse
Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Leadership
- Lead and coordinate all day-to-day farm operations across multiple locations
- Plan and execute planting, harvesting, irrigation, feeding, and maintenance schedules
- Ensure consistent delivery of operational standards and outputs across all farms
2. Team Management
- Directly supervise and manage farm workers across all sites
- Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure accountability
- Maintain a productive, safe, and well-organized working environment
3. Crop, Livestock, and Beekeeping Management
- Oversee the health and productivity of crops, trees, animals, and beehives
- Implement pest control, fertilization, irrigation, and basic veterinary practices
- Optimize yields and operational efficiency across all production areas
4. Resource and Equipment Management
- Oversee the use, maintenance, and repair of farm machinery and equipment
- Manage inputs and resources efficiently, including water, feed, and supplies
- Coordinate procurement and vendor relationships as needed
5. Monitoring, Data, and Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of farm activities, production, and resource use
- Track key performance indicators and ensure data-driven decision-making
- Utilize digital tools and farm management systems where applicable
6. Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement improvements in productivity, efficiency, and sustainability
- Introduce practical innovations, including digital or AI-supported solutions where relevant
- Ensure operations adapt effectively to local environmental and climatic conditions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agribusiness, Horticulture, Animal Science, or related field
- Approximately 4–7 years of relevant experience in farm management or supervisory roles
- Practical experience in at least one of the following: crop production of olives and/or date palms, beekeeping is a must.

Reporting Line

- Ability to work outdoors and across different farm environments
- Valid driving license is an advantage
