Job Description:

The Nebraska Department of Water, Energy, and Environment (DWEE) is seeking a Federal Aid Administrator for our team. We are looking for a candidate who is service driven, customer focused, team oriented, loves to learn, and has a high personal standard of integrity. The candidate would develop, prepare, review, and apply for grant applications, agreements, and contracts.

DWEE has a full-time opportunity available for a Federal Aid Administrator on the Management Services Team. We are looking for a candidate who is service driven, customer focused, team oriented, loves to learn, and has a high personal standard of integrity.

Location and address of position: 245 Fallbrook Blvd, Suite 100– Lincoln, NE

Work schedule:

Monday – Friday – 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Flexible schedule and 10-hour workdays allowed after six-month probation with management approval.

Job Duties:

Apply for Federal grants for the agency. Track and organize contracts.

Coordinate the Performance Partnership Grant, which is a multi-program grant that funds many of the positions and activities throughout the DWEE. Apply for all Federal grant funds for DWEE and work closely with the programs to ensure we remain in compliance with Federal requirements. Ensure timely submittal of grant applications and grant reports. Responsible for all contracting for the DWEE.Ensure that all programs are following procurement guidelines and that contracts contain required State and Federal conditions.

Review agreements and work with the programs at DWEE to develop and carry out the agreements. Work with programs to keep contracts from expiring before work is completed and make sure payment is…
